A message from our Pastor
We believe in salvation by
repentance to God and faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
We are a fundamental Bible believing church holding to the historic baptist
beliefs. We believe in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the
earth. We believe in the eminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ and the rapture
of His Church. We are non-charismatic. We reject the modern day worldly,
entertainment crazed church!
We are burdened with the
alarming number of children raised in Christian homes who have fallen prey to
the World, the flesh, and the Devil. Many attended a fundamental Bible believing
church and even went to a Christian school, but are now lost to the world. As
enthusiastic, soul-winning, Christians brought people in the front door of the
church, Satan was busy luring the next generation out the back door. God has
burdened our hearts to have a family friendly church with a multi-generational
vision. Instead of watching worldliness increase with each generation, we
believe instead that godliness should abound. We are seeing young people in our
church who are surpassing their first or second generation Christian parents in
wisdom, character, faith, and love for Christ! While parents in many churches
struggle to accept their children's contemporary music, our children detect and
reject the slightest rock beat. There is no fuss over immodest dress here. The
children don't watch TV except for an occasional preaching video. Serving their
families and others is their desire. Sometimes when I am preaching hard against
rebellion and disobedience to parents, I stop myself - "these kids don't
need this" I say to myself. Why? Two basic reasons: 1. No peer pressure.
Values are learned from their parents not peers. Families are not separated with
Sunday school classes, nurseries, or youth groups. Fathers and mothers teach
Bible to their children at home seven days a week. 2. Fathers turn their hearts
to their children, and children to their fathers. There is a powerful, bonding
relationship between parents and children. Their parents are their role model.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Jesus Name,
